Q: What should I wear to a class?
A: The most important thing is that you feel comfortable.Depending upon the style of dance, you may choose your dress. For example, feel free to wear a belly scarf and a long flowy skirt or pants to a belly dance class, where you might wear normal workout gear to the erotic movement classes. Don’t forget your dance shoes when taking latin style dance or flamenco! Normal yoga gear (pants and workout shirt / tank) are appropriate for pole classes. As you progress, you can move on in your own time, or stay at a level where you feel comfortable. There is no pressure. Each person may also have a different focus on what they want to get out of the class. Some may just want to learn basic moves, that they can show off to their family and friends.
